Kami's Update

Mon - 1 mile walk, 36 oz of water, 3/4 pint of frozen yogurt
Tues - sick, no sweets, no idea how much water I drank but not enough.
Wed - 30 min weights, 10 min abs, 3 mile walk, 30 min stretch, 64 oz of water (woohoo!), 1 piece of chocolate.

Working hard to get the water in and spending a lot more time in the bathroom...

Amber's post about sugar reminded me about this recipe.  I got it off of www.therhouse.com.  It's something I like to make because if you leave out the chocolate chips there is no sugar in it and it has a good amount of protein.

Peanut Butter and Honey Bites

2 Cups Oats
2 Cups Non-fat Powdered Milk
1 Cup Natural Peanut Butter OR Almond Butter
1 Cup Agave or Honey
6 oz or less of Mini Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips (optional)

In a small bowl, combine the 1 cup of peanut or almond butter and 1 cup of agave or honey.  In a large bowl, combine the 2 cups of oats and 2 cups of powdered milk.  Pour the peanut/almond butter and agave/honey mix into the oats and powdered milk mixture and combine.  Add chocolate chips.  Knead the mixture together with your hands.  If it is kind of crumbly, sprinkle with a little water and continue kneading.  With your hands, roll into small bite-size portions.  Again, if it is kind of crumbly, sprinkle with a little water and continue rolling.  Place in an air tight container, refrigerate and enjoy when you need just little something to tide you over.

I haven't made these in a while but they are really yummy!  Maybe they will help combat those cravings especially around your cycle, in moderation of course.  Enjoy!
